Note of Thanks from IRL Marketing to the IRL Crew
"On behalf of Indy Racing Marketing and the Indy Racing League, I want to personally thank everyone from the IRL Crew that helped us with various promotions during a great 2001 season of Indy racing. This includes everyone that worked in the booth at the tracks and helped pass out our promotional items, and especially those who helped pass out the 10,000 red IRL hats to fans at the gate before the Casino Magic 500 in Texas in June. Carl Lundin can attest that it was very hot that day, but the Crew members braved the heat and were a big help.
We'll be asking for your assistance again next year, and I have no doubt that you will help to make the 2002 season the best yet for the Indy Racing League."
